LIBERATE Food and Body Peace Program

The LIBERATE: Food and Body Peace Program is Bodacious Nutrition's framework for healing the food and body relationships. It's grounded in the nutrition therapy best practices, Intuitive Eating Framework, embodiment work, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as mindfulness. It is based on our years of working with clients and what we've learned is more effective in healing food stress and body frustrations. 

The "seats" at the table represent areas of importance that need assessment and care. We work through together, moving through the seats fluidly as topics and concerns arise. We also use the framework as a benchmark for understanding what is happening in the treatment process and progression toward food peace.

First, we always want to normalize your intake, orientating to new way of thinking about and being with food and body using curiosity and exploration. We also promote self-compassion and the use a gentle lens. Treatment is never linear. We may also use somatic embodiment tools to help feel into obstacles to food peace or other concerns. The embodied self-care seat incorporates nourishing movement, sleep, stress, social connectedness, and all the other ways we care for ourselves,

Even though this is a program, we schedule sessions as we go with no upfront package costs.
